Wild Words presents: Quixote!

This event has passed.

Wild Words presents: Quixote! with Michael Loader and Simon Blakeman. A new and interactive story, with plenty of drama and music…

Ride the plains of La Mancha with Don, a crazy old loon, and Sancho his faithful companion, in a 400 year old tale of bravery, anarchy and sanity. Be regaled with musical Spanish fleas and eyes, and the fragrance of magnolias, and the singing of birds in the ‘concerto-ed’ gardens of Aranjuez.

Brought to you by Michael Loader and Simon Blakeman with daring, dazzling theatricalities, trumpeting whistling bouzouki musicality, and a talking cactus.

In the Pre-show Playshop session – make a blood curdling sheep and monstrous windmill to star in the show.

Event format
Playshop with children on stage from 10.30am, short break c.11.05am, performance starts c.11.15am and lasts approx. 50 mins.

Event most suitable for ages 5 and above.

Feedback from Wild Words’ St George’s October 2022 family show:
“A wonderful composition of music and storytelling – so atmospheric and moving”
