Part of Festival of Voice

This event has passed.

Experience and support fantastic local choirs in the beautiful Bristol Beacon Bridgehouse as part of the Festival of Voice.

Arnos Vocale & Free Range

Founded in 2019 by MD Anya Sreter, Arnos Vocale started off as just six auditioned singers, but have now swelled to around a dozen skilled singers who perform throughout the year, delighting Festival and concert audiences with their beautiful singing and varied repertoire.

Free Range Acappella is a nine strong group that have been singing together since 2002. Described by Bristol Folk Festival as “Choral singing without the stuffiness”!

UHBW Choir

Choirs have been a feature of hospitals for decades. However, their popularity has grown hugely in the last 10 years, helped in part by Gareth Malone’s The Choir TV shows.  There is also increasing evidence of the physical and mental wellbeing benefits of group singing, and greater understanding of how choirs can support a sense of community.

MD Ellie Rose supports the choir to sing in beautiful harmony while keeping the focus on fun and wellbeing.

Sing Out Bristol

Sing Out Bristol is the South-West’s award-winning Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Choir.

Windrush Reggae Choir

Led by voice coach Gena Rose, the Windrush Reggae Choir was recently launched by Bristol Reggae Orchestra. Bristol Reggae Orchestra was established in 2011 to reach out to diverse communities living in Bristol, extending opportunities for music-making to excluded groups while creating high-quality creative outputs and inclusive performances.
