Karine Polwart, seven-time winner at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, comes together with the supremely evocative jazz / folk pianist Dave Milligan for this sumptuously intimate collection of songs captured on their critically lauded album Still As Your Sleeping.
Deceptively simple, yet devastatingly powerful, it is an album threaded with images of stillness and flux, leaving and returning, and it includes the timeless, poignant The Parting Glass as requested by Margaret Atwood for her specially curated BBC Radio 4 Today programme.
