Meera Maharaj and James Girling both studied at the RNCM, where they quickly connected through a shared passion for chamber music, jazz, Latin American music traditions, and contemporary works. They bring all these influences together in the award-winning Meraki Duo, ‘proving that flute and guitar is a marriage made in sonic heaven’ (Georgia Mann, BBC Radio 3).
