The Mēla Guitar Quartet takes its name from the Sanskrit word for ‘Festival’. They are known for their deeply moving and imaginative programs and their ingenious and beautifully played arrangements of celebrated and original works. They may be “a guitar quartet for the millennial generation” (Sofar Sounds) but they are also one of the finest guitar quartets to be found on the planet and a must-hear for anyone who loves the classical guitar.

“ …brilliance and poetry”- Phillip Houghton, composer

We’re delighted to be able to offer free tickets to 8 – 25 year olds for this concert, via the CAVATINA scheme. The offer will be automatically applied at checkout when selecting an under-25 ticket. T&Cs apply.
