Hailed as a ‘sculptor in sound’ (Guardian), and one of the finest exponents of Chopin on the planet, Kolesnikov has taken a characteristically thought-provoking approach to his material, separating his choice of nocturnes into three distinct groups. This will be a rare evening of piano music: intimate and limpid interpretations expressed with an effortlessly virtuosic touch.
