Rachael McShane

Rachael McShane & The Cartographers

This event has passed.

Renowned folk singer, cellist, fiddle and viola player Rachael McShane, well known as one of the original members of folk supergroup Bellowhead (winning a staggering 8 BBC Folk Awards with them), brings her smaller project The Cartographers to St George’s for an evening of unbridled musical verve and life-affirming joy.

The Cartographers combine the exceptional talents of guitarist Ian Stephenson (Kan, Baltic Crossing), and melodeon player Julian Sutton (Kathryn Tickell, Sting), with Rachael’s stunning voice and instrumental skills leading the line. Their delightful mix of traditional folk and contemporary sounds have garnered a loyal following thanks to their gorgeous live performances and critically acclaimed debut album When All Is Still (2018).
