Rising Folk: Heather Ferrier
This event has passed.
Stockport-born accordion virtuoso, clog dancer and composer Heather Feather has an unapologetically original sound, rooted in folk traditions but drawing on a broad spectrum of influences.
Her music is bold and enthralling, and it moves in wonderfully beguiling, unexpected ways. Tonight she is joined by guitarist Alasdair Paul (Pons Aelius, Jordan Aikin, Quercus) and drummer Adam Stapleford (Ponyland, Yes! Grasshopper). This is a Rising Folk session curated and presented by Ant Miles, who’ll be in conversation with Heather as part of the event.
