In the summer of 2024, long-time collaborators and friends Ösp Eldjárn, Valeria Pozzo, and Helga Ragnars retreated to a cabin in rural Iceland, where they wrote the three songs appearing on their recently released debut EP, The Wave.
Thus MAAR were formed: crystal-clear three-part vocal harmonies, gorgeous lyrics, and beautifully evocative acoustic instrumentation. At the heart of their sound is the interweaving of all three members’ voices, creating a stunning sonic interplay, uniquely their own. Shaped by collaboration and friendship, their music is intimate, deceptively simple, and unforced. It flows like a conversation between close friends.

If you’re over 25 and are buying tickets on behalf of someone under 25, please enquire direct with our Box Office. You may be required to show ID for the under-25 year old on collection of the tickets.
Pre-event Food & Drink
Enjoy delicious drinks and light bites from our Café Bar ahead of the event.
Available to pre-order when booking your tickets, you can choose from a selection of house drinks on arrival, accompanied by a mezze board of bread, dips, olives, stuffed peppers, falafel, feta cheese and garden salad (all vegetarian). Just select which option – for one or two people – you would like, before checkout. Or if you’ve already booked, please email boxoffice@stgeorgesbristol.co.uk to add your food to your order.
Your pre-ordered food and drink will be available to collect from the Café Bar from 90 minutes before the event. It’s the perfect way to begin your event experience at St George’s!
