For over three decades, the sensational Hungarian five-piece Söndörgő have been at the forefront of the global folk scene, breathing fire and fresh life into the rich musical traditions of the Balkans.
Their fizzing virtuosity and infectious energy, and their breathtaking ensemble playing, have enthralled audiences worldwide. Their sound is unmistakeably theirs: light and springy and delicately plucked – infused with a mandolin-like instrument called the tambura. They tour the continent this year supporting Snarky Puppy. This is their first time in Bristol.
