Rising Stars Campaign

Help us to nurture the classical music stars of tomorrow

Quatuor Mona, Lunchtime Concert artists 2022, part of BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists Scheme

This Christmas, we are proud to launch our new ‘Rising Stars’ appeal to help the very best emerging talent in classical music to thrive in 2022, and beyond.

Our fundraising target is £10,000, and we need your generous support to reach this! All donations received will directly help the rising stars of tomorrow by giving them the chance to perform in our world-class venue, opportunities to reach audiences across the UK, and develop as budding professional musicians.

As a music charity, we nurture talented young musicians at the threshold of their international careers. One of the ways we do this is through our popular Lunchtime Concert series. In 2022, to support future rising stars, we will reignite the unique platform these concerts provide  for emerging artists through new partnerships with BBC Radio 3 and their New Generation Artists Scheme, and the prize-winners from the prestigious Royal Overseas League competition.

We hope to raise £10,000 through this Christmas campaign, and are very excited to say that every pound received will be doubled by a group of generous philanthropic supporters, at no extra cost to you – making a £20,000 total!

Please support our Rising Stars campaign. Thank you

Your gift will help us to provide performance opportunities and career support to the very best talented young musicians across the UK.

Why should I support the Rising Stars campaign?

Over the years, we have been proud to nurture musicians at the beginning of their careers, many of whom have gone on to international success, such as Eric Lu, Laura van der Heijden and Jess Gillam.

The last two years have been incredibly hard for young, emerging musicians, especially those who rely on the support of local venues and audiences for vital performance opportunities. Please join us to give these talented and passionate musicians a platform to develop and become stars of the future.

We are delighted to launch our Rising Stars campaign with the help of our new Artist Patron, Paul Cassidy from the Brodsky Quartet, and the stunningly talented local musician Georgie Ward. We asked Paul and Georgie to tell us what this Appeal means to them, and why supporting the ‘rising stars’ of classical music is so important.
