The Friends of St George’s Bristol
Our Friends play a crucial role in ensuring we fulfill all aspects of our charitable remit here at St George’s Bristol. Without your support we could not deliver the breadth and quality of music that our audiences enjoy, we could not run our excellent education and learning programmes which encourage new generations to engage in music making, and we would struggle to maintain our wonderful Grade II* listed building that provides the intimacy and acoustic excellence valued equally by both artists and audiences alike.
Our Friends enjoy a range of exclusive benefits and we offer membership at 4 different levels:
- Friend- £30
- Gala Friends- £75
- Benefactor- £250
- Patron – £1000
Each membership level offers a range of benefits to thank you for your valuable support. For full details of the benefits you can enjoy as a Friend of St George’s please click here.
Friends memberships also make great gifts! Why not give your friend or loved one the gift of music.
We also offer the option to spread your annual subscription across four quarterly payments by Direct Debit. To do this please download our membership form here or contact Simon Farley for further information – email@example.com / 0117 929 4929 (Ext 205).
‘I have been a regular at St Georges since the 1980s, and a volunteer steward since the 1990s. Becoming a Gala Friend was a natural step as I wished to continue my support. St George’s is an essential part of the musical life not only in Bristol but the country as a whole. It’s the ideal venue for quality music of all kinds and I have some great memories. The more Friends there are, the more music there’ll be!’ GEOFF WOOLFE
“I love going to St George’s for concerts. Being a Friend of St George’s makes you feel more part of the place as well as allowing you priority booking, which is so useful. Extra events provided for Friends are also very worthwhile. I have got to know so many people through St George’s” CHARLES KINSEY
“We know St George’s relies on the additional support of the Friends to maintain its superbly varied programme, bringing the top artists to Bristol. We’re therefore glad to join with very many other Friends in donating a little extra – and in sharing enjoyment of the finest music at this wonderful venue.” MARTIN & MARY BAILEY
‘As a music student I really enjoy coming to St George’s, especially for the lunchtime concerts which are free for students! It is a beautiful venue and there are so many fantastic opportunities to watch world-famous artists perform here. As a Friend it’s great to be kept up to date with additions to the programme and special ticket offers.’ CHRISTABELL PIDDUCK
