Since performing at St George’s in the autumn of 2021 – his first concert as the Leeds International Piano Competition winner, and a rapturously received one at that – Alim Beisembayev has seamlessly projected himself onto the international stage.
This is the second of three BBC New Generation Artist lunchtime concerts this season, and will be recorded for BBC Radio 3. The scheme helps to support young musicians on the threshold of an international career to reach the next stage of their development. Programme to be announced soon.
