Since being picked by Stanley Kubrick to write the music for what was to be his last film, ‘Eyes Wide Shut’, Jocelyn Pook has established herself as one of the world’s leading composers for film and the stage.

Tonight’s special filmic festival commission features Jocelyn’s nine-strong ensemble of musicians and singers – including cellist Sophie Harris and vocalists Tanja Tzarovska, Manickam Yogeswaren and the legendary Melanie Pappenheim – in a performance of work from throughout her career, including ‘Eyes Wide Shut’, ‘Brick Lane’, recent Golden Globe-winner ‘The Wife’, and the haunting music from the Netflix hit true crime serial, ‘The Staircase’. Selections from her theatre and television success, ‘King Charles 111’, together with pieces from Jocelyn’s albums, past and future, complete the programme.
